Supported Charities

Every year, the Frisco Police Officers Association donates money and time to benefit numerous charities, groups and organizations in Texas.

To help us better serve you and our community we share, please feel free to join our mission by participating in any of our events or donating toward our cause.

Serving our Community

Kenna's Kids

Kenna's Kids is a nonprofit organization that reaches out to individual families with children experiencing life's medical challenges at a young age. The basis of our nonprofit organization is built around the pay-it-forward concept. The growth of our organization and support of additional families will come from those we've helped in the past. We are excited about the future of Kenna's Kids and blessed to be able to support the emotional and financial needs of many more families in the future.

Dallas ATO

"We owe it to the living to remember. The Dallas Police Department, on behalf of the Assist the Officer Foundation, thanks you for remembering them, with your prayers, with your support, with your contributions. Let us all move forward from this event strengthened, united and better for their sacrifice."

Responder Impact

"The majority of First Responders love what they do and have counted the cost of their unique vocation. To borrow a phrase from Edward F. Croker, former FDNY Chief, “…they do not regard themselves as heroes because they do what business requires.” Over time, doing ‘what business requires’ will often affect their emotional and physical health, and the relationships that are most important to them."

Boys & Girls Clubs Frisco

"The mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Collin County is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens."

Special Olympics Texas / Fire Truck Pull

“Fire Truck Pull is a Law Enforcement Torch Run event. The Law Enforcement Torch Run is Special Olympics' largest grassroots fund raiser and public awareness vehicle. Special Olympics athletes and Law Enforcement Torch Run officers carry the "Flame of Hope" at the Opening Ceremonies for Special Olympics competitions around the world.”

Collin County Mental Health Symposium

"In Collin County, like everywhere else across the country, we see issues related to mental illness. Services and treatment we need for these individuals are not always available contributing to the persistence of this ongoing issue . The participants are made up from Mental Health providers, Hospitals, EMT’s Firefighters, Law Enforcement, Attorneys, Judges, Detention Officers and more. These are the first line people out there who can make a difference."

C.O.P.S. Kids Camp

"Concerns of Police Survivors, Inc. (C.O.P.S.) provides resources to assist in the rebuilding of the lives of surviving families and affected co-workers of law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty.  Kids Camp provides family interaction, camp activities, grief counseling, relaxation and lots of old-fashioned fun!"

Frisco Education Foundation

"To provide financial resources to maximize student potential in the Frisco Independent School District (FISD) through educational programs, student scholarships and grants for FISD innovative educators."

Frisco Family Services

"Frisco Family Services exists to help members of our communities who are facing hunger, homelessness and other urgent needs improve their quality of life and achieve self-sufficiency."

Thanksgiving Meal Program

"Through generous groups and individuals, Frisco Family Services is able to provide each family we serve with a turkey and everything needed to prepare a traditional Thanksgiving meal; something many would go without during a crisis or financial hardship. The goal for this program is to provide families in need or in crisis everything to prepare a special Thanksgiving meal as well as spend quality time together."

Texas DPS Memorial Ride

"In the past five years the DPS Memorial Ride- Disability Funds has given financial assistance to a total of 17 DPS officers and their families. We were only able to assist these families in their time of financial need solely because of your sponsorship or participation."

Carry the Load

"Carry The Load provides active ways to honor the countless military, law enforcement, firefighters and rescue personnel who dedicate their lives to keeping our country safe."

National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund

The mission of the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund is to generate increased public support for the law enforcement profession by permanently recording and appropriately commemorating the service and sacrifice of law enforcement officers; and to provide information that will help promote law enforcement safety.

Officer Down Memorial Page

The Officer Down Memorial Page, Inc., (ODMP) is a non-profit organization dedicated to honoring America's fallen law enforcement heroes. More than 22,000 officers have made the ultimate sacrifice in the United States since 1791, and it is with great honor that the ODMP preserves their memories within its pages. The countless stories of selfless courage and heroism exhibited by officers who lost their lives while serving and protecting the citizens of this great nation are a testament to the dedication of those men and women who wear the badge.

9-99 Foundation

The National 9-99 Police and Sheriff Foundation raises funds for injured or fallen officers and their families, invests in K9 safety and training, and provides counseling and mental health resources to all officers in need.
